Massillon Alcohol & Drug Treatment Programs

Throughout Massillon and Stark County, there are several types of addiction services available to you.

When you reach out for help, you’ll likely complete an individualized needs assessment, which will determine which of the following levels of care become part of your treatment plan:

    • medical detox
    • inpatient treatment
    • outpatient rehab
    • mental health services
    • dual-diagnosis treatment
    • peer support services
    • relapse prevention
    • aftercare planning and support

    Medical Drug & Alcohol Detox

Detoxification is likely the first step in the substance abuse treatment process. Your body must eliminate alcohol or drugs before you can proceed with treatment, but withdrawing alone can be dangerous and may also increase your risk for relapse.

That’s why completing a short-term supervised medical detox program helps you safely manage withdrawal and get ready for treatment.

    Inpatient/Residential Drug Rehab

If you need dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring severe substance abuse issues and a mental health disorder, residential treatment maybe your best option. Also referred to as inpatient treatment, this type of care is highly structured and takes place in a residential environment.

You’ll have around-the-clock access to therapists and clinicians, as well as several types of evidence-based treatment, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, and several others.

    Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment allows you to attend rehab while tending to your other life responsibilities. If you’re living with a serious addiction disorder but cannot attend residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP) may be a good alternative.

These two forms of outpatient rehab provide many of the same services as inpatient treatment. But rather than living at the rehab facility, you’ll go home at the end of each therapy session.

    Opioid & Alcohol Treatment Programs

If you live with alcohol addiction or opioid/opiate dependence, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) may be able to help.

This evidence-based addiction treatment integrates medications that help alleviate psychological and physical-chemical dependency with counseling and behavioral therapy

    Aftercare

Sober-living housing, relapse prevention, 12-step groups, group therapy, and alumni groups are just a few examples of the resources that are available in aftercare.

This type of care also referred to as continuing care, is designed to provide long-term recovery support after you complete your rehab program.
