  • Valium Street Prices, Street Names, And Dosage

Valium Street Prices | How Much Does Valium Cost?

Valium is the brand name for diazepam, an anti-anxiety and anti-seizure medication that belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines. Other benzodiazepines include Xanax (alprazolam), Klonopin (clonazepam), and Ativan (lorazepam).

Some people abuse Valium to feel relaxed and euphoric, or “high.” Abuse occurs when someone uses a drug in a manner not prescribed by a clinician. People who want to abuse Valium but don’t have a prescription for it will likely buy it off the street.

    Valium Street Value

Valium is available in three dosages: 2mg, 5mg, and 10mg. On the street, it usually costs about $1 per milligram. In other words, a 2mg pill costs about $2, a 5mg pill costs about $5, and a 10mg pill costs about $10

The prices may vary depending on where you live. If you live in an area where very few people sell Valium, it may be more expensive. If you live in an area where lots of people sell Valium, it may be cheaper. That’s because higher supply leads to lower prices.

The drug may also be cheaper if the dealer cuts it with other substances. This strategy reduces production costs, allowing the dealer to charge less.

Common cutting agents for Valium include:

    • other benzodiazepines
    • illicit drugs like methamphetamine
    • prescription stimulants like Adderall and Ritalin
    • prescription opioids like fentanyl, which is a powerful analgesic (painkiller) linked to numerous overdose deaths

Valium Street Prices Vs. Prescription Prices

In general, prescription Valium costs much less than street Valium. For example, while a single 5mg Valium pill costs about $5 on the street, a prescription for 30 5mg Valium pills can cost as little as $6 depending on your location and insurance.

    Valium Street Names

To avoid detection by law enforcement, people who buy and sell Valium on the black market refer to the drug-using street names. The most common street names for Valium include:

    • Eggs
    • Jellies
    • Moggies
    • Vallies

Some people also refer to Valium using general street names for benzodiazepines. These names include:

    • benzos
    • chill pills
    • downers
    • nerve pills
    • tranks
