    The Spider-Man actor was born on June 1, 1996, in London, England. He attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology.

    Holland made his film debut by starring in The Impossible with co-stars Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor in 2012. He later appeared in various films, even voicing an animated character in Disney and Pixar’s Onward.

    According to Variety, Holland stated he has participated in the “whole action-movie thing” numerous times, but found it difficult to transition to his character in The Crowded Room due to his own mental health issues.

    Holland not only had to prepare for the role physically, but had to consider the mental aspect as well, which took a toll on his own life.

    Holland is in a relationship with his co-star and singer Zendaya. Holland mostly enjoys keeping his personal life private.

    Despite this, Holland has been vocal about his mental health. In fact, Holland quit social media to focus on his own mental state.

    Tom Holland & Alcohol Abuse

    Although there are no specific instances of Holland’s drug use, there have been occasions during interviews in which the Spider-Man star referenced drinking alcohol

    For instance, during a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance in 2020, Holland discussed how he and his roommates were “drinking a lot” and that he wanted to take a break from alcohol.

    Holland stated he has been sober for a year according to Entertainment Weekly in a 2023 interview. However, there are no known specific instances in which Holland sought recovery other than abstaining from drugs and alcohol.
